SwishEmail Transitions to New Custom Webmail Platform from 7 May 2026

Swish World Group today announced that SwishEmail will officially transition away from its Roundcube-based webmail service in favour of a new, fully custom-built webmail platform, effective 7 May 2026. This marks a significant step forward in delivering a modern, streamlined, and privacy-focused email experience for users worldwide.

The new SwishEmail webmail interface, currently available at https://new-webmail.swish.email, will become the primary access point for all users and will move to https://webmail.swish.email from 7 May 2026. At the same time, the existing Roundcube webmail service will be permanently discontinued.

Built from the ground up, the new webmail platform introduces a faster, more intuitive interface, improved performance, and deeper integration with SwishEmail’s backend systems. The transition allows SwishEmail to better support future innovation while maintaining its commitment to user privacy, security, and simplicity.

Users will not need to take any action as part of this transition. All existing emails, contacts, and settings will remain intact and accessible through the new webmail interface. IMAP and SMTP access will continue to be supported without interruption.
